Originally chartered as Midwest Equipment & Alarm Services in 1950, the company eventually became known as Midwest Alarm Services. In 1964, we became a full line Notifier distributor and, in 1994, a Notifier Engineered Systems Company (NESCO) distributor, the highest level of distributorship Notifier offers.Through an acquisition in 1998, Midwest Alarm Services became part of Per Mar Security Services. This acquisition allowed our small company in Des Moines, Iowa the opportunity for growth. In 2001, the expansion continued with the opening of an office in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Soon after, an office opened in the Quad Cities which stretched our territory into eastern Iowa and western Illinois. With the acquisition of a company in Madison, our presence in Wisconsin was established and quickly expanded to Eau Claire and Wausau.
