We purchased a business that was using Per Mar Security. We have been calling for a month to get an account set up and take over the security services for the business. People either don't return my phone calls or follow up. I'm extremely frustrated and don't recommend this company.

Several times we had the alarm go off (accidentally thankfully) and they never called. In discussions with Per Mar they said they'd have a tech guy call and schedule a home appointment - nobody ever called. After calling back twice to find out what was happening I only got voice mails - no one EVER called me back. NOW.after cancelling they will not refund the balance of the last payment. Multiple emails and all I get is "a credit will be made to your credit card" and now it's the ol' standard "the check is in the mail". RUN don't walk away from Per Mar

I thought Floyd did a great job. I was always able to reach someone. Now with Per Mar taking over Floyd, you can never reach anyone. You always need to leave a message and they do not return your call. They e-mailed and said the best way to reach them is through e-mail. I don't want to do that. I want to speak to someone. I'm very disappointed and plan to search for another company.

The install technician was great - Justin G. I would recommend Per Mar for in home security.

The equipment works well. Some of the employees who carried over from Floyd continue to provide good service. However, since Floyd became Per Mar, the general level of service and responsiveness is lacking. I have called on three separate occasions for different reasons, and each time was told someone would call me back shortly on that same day. Each time, I had to call back myself.

One time I had to call back three times over the course of two days before the ticket was escalated to "critical" which is apparently what's needed to get someone to call back. Even then it took a full day. Floyd was far more responsive, always resolving issues immediately.

Calandra installed a new security system at Exterior Arts. We received great customer service and she was very easy to work with. Our salesperson Nicole Bodle was wonderful as well.

Per Mar has been an excellent company to work for. I started off as a security guard and within the span of a few months worked my way up to running one of their biggest sites in the area. They will definitely reward you if you put in the time and effort.

They installed an alarm in my house and have provided excellent customer service since. I used them to replace a different alarm company and I couldn't be happier

I've worked in a lot of service oriented industries, but this has by far been one of the best and most understanding when it comes to employee relations/scheduling. I love that my schedule is clear and planned out so I can plan my life accordingly. The time clock system is pristine and organized. I have access to everything I need, right on my phone and the managers are always detail-oriented and on top of things.

I appreciate the management team also. I expressed to them that I desperately needed more income and I would pick up any shifts that they may need covered. They readily called me anytime another officer called out and they completely understood when I told them I would need to get ready and head out. I absolutely appreciate being given the opportunity to work for them and broaden my resume and experience fields.

The level of professionalism is not matched by any other industries I've worked thus far. As long as you're a great person and employee, you won't have any issues working here. With every "adult" job, you should be prepared to work, have good communication with your management, and come to work prepared to WORK. If you present yourself as a professional adult, you will be treated as such.

I cannot wait to see where I go from here. It's a great family-owned company and I am always excited to be apart of something great. What keywords come to my mind when I think of Per Mar Security now? Customer care, teamwork, discipline, diligence, excellence, and most importantly; family.

I have been apart of the office for a few months now and personally love the experience. The managers are friendly and work with everyone to make their careers work for them. Everyone is professional and they care about seeing their employees succeed. I am honored to be apart of their crew and work one on one with them and all new hires coming in to the company.

I have been with a lot of security companies in my time. Big and small. I have never worked for one that has as good of benefits and competitive pay. The communication for me is always the biggest thing. I'd say the communication with Per Mar has been excellent. It was a leap of faith joining when i did. But so far it's been amazing. Usually when you join a company and get the whole "this is everything you can achieve in a short time" speech.

Normally it's too good to be true. I put my nose to the grind stone. And everything is paying off. I'm a Site Supervisor and was offered an area manager role in a different location. Although I declined, Per Mar is always looking for new opportunities for me.

Justin Galinsky was efficient, knowledgeable, and personable. Our neighbor is using Per Mar and is very happy with it. Justin just installed it. The salesperson was good also.

Two weeks ago I reached out to this company to see if I could obtain some last minute security guard coverage during a very chaotic time in Minneapolis. I was able to reach the GM directly. They were able to supply security to be on my site within 90 minutes. As the conditions were getting worse and worse I was in constant contact with the GM Randy. I can't say enough good things about the professionalism and responsiveness. I would highly recommend this Company for any security needs you may have.

Matt Stringfellow was absolutely professional. The golden standard of residential installation services. Kept on the job while also communicating with us everything he was installing, all while giving us a great conversation from time to time. Was very delicate with the home and walls and was careful of personal belongings. Explained how everything worked very thoroughly, yet kept it simple enough that anyone could understand how to operate the system. Highly recommended. 10/10!

The technician, Matt S., that installed our system today was easy to work with and very professional. The installation went smoothly and he made sure that he answered all of our questions and walked us through how the system worked before he left. I highly recommend Per Mar Security Services.

We were switching providers and called to set up an in house review and see potential services and updates. Larry stopped by later that evening and we signed up that night. He was knowledgeable and explained everything up front. Matt was our technician and was also very knowledgeable and made the updates seamless. Classy team with great customer service, glad we made the switch.

Justin and Matt were doing an update on the equipment in our building on 2/6. They were both extremely nice and friendly. Worked efficiently while getting the job done well. They also were willing to answer any questions that I had with a professional attitude, even when they were silly questions. They also seemed very trustworthy. They went above and beyond to make sure that or business was secure and we had everything that we needed. Definitely recommend this company but also these installers.

By far the ABSOLUTE worst security service I have ever worked for. They make Securitas look good. The Supervisor and her buddies would steal company time. They would clock each other in on the company cell phone and not even be at work. I was once asked to clock my relief in and go home once my shift was up and when I didn't do so I was written up for insubordination.

Then if the supervisor hates you, she'll change up your schedule all over the place without notifying you 24 hours in advance and then you'll get written up for either being late or not showing up to work. I had to take pictures of the schedule every single day just to cover my own ass. Also, everyone wanted to play the race card. I was accused of being racist even though I've never done or said anything racist in any way shape or form.

And I have reason to believe that the branch office is up to some shady, illegal shit. They've even told me once that they weren't going to pay me for a week's work. If I had to choose between getting mauled by a bear or going to work for them again, I think I'll choose the bear. That's how bad this company is. I'd rate it 0 stars if I could.
