The Mark hires 30 young people to sell alarms to their relatives, who want to help out their kid's new venture. The alarms are obscenely overpriced and won't sell to anyone else. The mark buys overpriced alarms but can't sell the obscenely overpriced alarms either. The mark fires the impotent salesman and hires 30 more ***. The local fire depts run ads in the local papers warning people not to buy the overpriced alarms. The mark ends up selling her alarms at Pennies on the dollar and declares bankruptcy.
