Many of our commercial systems identify the exact point of alarm. For example, in an area with multiple points of entry, the system can identify the precise entrance that is faulted and notify the alarm monitoring central station. In the event of a burglary, the police are provided with the exact location of the sensor that was tripped. Armed with this information, the police can act swiftly to capture the intruder.

We have been using Cunningham for our business since 2016 and they have been a consistent problem. Many of the sensors they have installed have caused false alarms which we end up billed for by the local police and fire department. Furthermore the response to issues has been lackluster, bills have been inconsistent with what we were quoted. Overall I am feeling like they have been stealing from us more than preventing theft.

We had an amazing experience with Cunningham Security. We were upgrading our services and there were a couple of snafus, and everyone went up and beyond to help us. 1. Our first tech Chalmers stayed past 5pm on a Friday to try and figure things out for us. 2. Our second tech Karl fixed our lock installation (we installed a new smart lock) so that it would fully extend, as this was erroring out the system. 3. Kate, who managed the entire operation, was amazing and responsive. She helped me through each of the step and answered all of my questions within hours.

Critical: Quality, Responsiveness, Value We spent over $5000 installing Cunningham Security back in 2015. Unfortunately they have zero support for Casco Bay island residents. So many false alarms that they refused to check out. Save your money and purchase a wireless system. Gave them 2 stars as they are pretty good at saying "sorry" over and over

I had great service from SOS Security for years and then Cunningham Security took over. Their service went downhill immediately. I called for service several times and each time they could not figure out what the problem was. They replaced parts that did not need replacing (and charged me of course) Twice they could not find the code needed to access my system and had to come back a second time.
The last time they came I was told that my system was outdated ( it was updated only 5 years ago by SOS)and I needed a whole new system.( this was after they installed new parts) When I questioned their methods, they talked down to me like I was an idiot. Finally, I canceled my service. 2 weeks later I received a bill for a service call that took place over a year ago that I was told at the time that I would not be charged because it was a repeat visit which was their fault.
I guess that was their way of getting back at me for getting rid of them. It took them 2 weeks to cancel the monitoring service. The service was still calling me asking if my phone was out of order. I hired another company and my system works great now. I would not recommend this company.one star was too many!

I have been a Cunningham customer for years and I'm not sure what happened but this company has gone sharply downhill over the past 12-18 months. Deceptive billing, rude staff, monitoring breakdowns and just a complete and total lack of organization. I cancelled my service and went with another company who provides much better service and recommend others do the same.

I highly recommend Cunningham Security they have an excellent team from installation to technical service. Also their sales staff will follow up with any newly installed systems, help work through those new system blahs at a level that leaves you informed and confident in your security set up. Thank you Cunningham for a job well done.

I was happy with Cunningham for awhile on some jobs, but when I invited them to my home for an update to an already existing security system, I'm not sure if it was different people I was dealing with, or the company has just gone downhill, but I had a totally different, terrible experience. Watch the fine print - or in my case NO print! I had an estimate which sounded very reasonable, even an onsite visit which went well.
In the original estimate, there was an option to add one item - which I did - but then they charged me MORE THAN TWICE the amount stated for that item by using hidden and unstated costs in addition! In the end, my final bill was more than 3X the original estimate, which I had signed. Had they stated what the bill would come to including all their hidden costs, I would have said no way.
When I confronted them, they did not back down and there was no reasonableness or effort to save the situation. Many hidden costs that were never stated either verbally or in writing, including $90 per hour to drive to my house and back? What the heck? Did I pay for him to grab lunch on the way too? Total bait and switch on the price.

Do your self a favor and go with another company. Their total connect cameras are junk and rarely work. I i called them on a Wednesday evening and told them our cameras were not working and that it was an emergency and that we were a target for theft. On Monday someone called me and told me someone would be by on Tuesday afternoon to look at the cameras (a week later).
I asked Ron at Cunningham why it took so long to respond to a customers emergency and simply replied it was a "break down on communication." Well thanks for stating the obvious Ron. Cunningham offers cheap services and deals on security cameras and I am advising customers to be aware, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!
