We had Kyle from Control Freaks out to help with the electrical portion of our split AC install. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and personable throughout the process. I was so impressed with their work that I plan to invite them back to bid work for our AOAO. Thanks Kyle and Control Freaks!

Control freaks did an excellent job of installing a new system for us at our condo in Maui. Set up was done during COVID and while it took a few months before we could travel to Maui to check out the installation, we were very pleased with the installation as it exceeded our expectations. Technician (Grayson) who provided a system review was thorough and very professional. We have no hesitation in recommending Control Freaks.

Outstanding service! I had a total loss of power in my unit and needed help immediately as I had a guest that just arrived. I called several (like 7 or 8) companies that were "recommended" but they either did not answer or was booked out several weeks and could not stop by. I called Control Freaks and got an answer immediately. They were also very busy but Kyle happened to be working nearby so he said he'd stop by and at least take a look.

He quickly found a rather difficult issue that was not easily identified. I was super impressed and had the power back on within the hour. The price was extremely competitive if not a little less than what I would have expected from the "other" guys. Thank you for the outstanding help designing and setting up our home entertainment, internet and security systems. Words cannot express my gratitude to Kyle for fixing the electrical issues I've been struggling with for the last three years. I've had other electricians look at the problems, and they did not have the skill/patience required to find a solution. Kyle knew that I was going to be on-island for a short time, and he kept me in the loop and squeezed me into the schedule.

He made sense out of the jumble of wires and how they tied into our pool automation system (with which he was unfamiliar). With hyper focus, dedication, and amazing integrity, he made everything work and I'm so happy! He also ensured that water penetration will not be a future problem. Folks at Control Freaks Maui super knowledgeable, responsive, and helpful. Such a relief to have them keeping our system up and running, especially now with multiple devices working from home.

We had some wiring issues in our new house. We gave up trying to get the original electrician to come and called control freaks. They came out same day and it took them less than half an hour to fix our electrical. Its been a month since its been fixed and everything still works perfect. Highly recommend and will be using them again in the future.

Hired CF to do low voltage, network, a/v and security camera install. Very pleased with their work - before and after the install. Dom, Tyler and Paulina were notable and excellent!

Eric and Norman did a great job dealing with all of my technical problems. Not only did they fix the problems efficiently and in a professional manner, but then also showed me how to use the new technology better. If you call any other service before Control Freaks, you're wasting your time. These guys are by far the most professional, helpful, honest and genuine group I've found on the island. My handyman had no clue why my ceiling fan went dead. I called several electricians around Maui. If you've done anything similar, you know how this song goes next - most of them couldn't be bothered to take my call, return a message or, if I did get to talk to a live human, provide any real timeframe when they could come look.

Control Freaks not only took my call, but made a special trip from the other side of the island the same day to check it out. When a miscommunication caused us to miss our first appointment (my fault), they were totally understanding and came back again the next day. Parts, a closed fan shop and other logistical issues caused them to make several more trips out to our place in Kahana - never a complaint.

Never anything less than a truly genuine desire to help us out and make things right. I've worked with electricians, smart home developers and similar contractors in cities all around the US. Control Freaks, especially Kyle, are truly unique and superior on their desire to get the right job done, and quickly and painlessly as possible, without cutting corners or inflating prices.
