Action Security Retail Service has two retail stores in Anchorage, and one in Fairbanks. Retail services include lock repair, key duplication and lock & safe combination changes. The products that are sold at these stores include security items, keys, lock & door hardware, and safes for all purposes.We provide access control, closed circuit television, intercom and alarm solutions, and it supplies and services electronic security products for a variety of government, commercial and residential customers. This division has been monitoring commercial and residential alarm accounts for over 20 years.

My experience with Action Security was great. The response to the initial request was quick and the service call was attended on time. The job involved keying several locks and Chris did a fantastic job of getting them all completed within a couple of hours. Stopped by cold to duplicate a set of keys (2 barrel keys and 2 regular). They quickly fixed me up, and I quickly discovered I left my wallet at home. Got embarrassed, but the lock dude was chill and just shook his head. Had to run out and back and get my wallet. A very friendly and able lock shop. I give it 5 stars.

I was very pleased with their service. I ordered some key fabs from car and truck remote. Action was listed as a company that could cut and program the key. I was warned that sometimes the keys bought online break or won't program. They were able to cut and program both keys. I am very satisfied and will use them again

Action Security for the WIN! I had a cash drawer at my place of business that got locked, which we needed opened. They were able to not only open it but also get us a key to fit. When I went to pick up, I had my 3 year old with me and they did a terrific job with him, letting him "explore" the different keys and safes. Action Security won my future business!

What thay did right: They fixed my inoperable safe. It now operates as new. For that, I thank you. Where I feel that there is room for improvement: COMMUNICATION! Talk to me. It is my belief that when a customer requests an update five times in a nine month period of time, a minimum of one phone call is an appropriate response. The experience would've been been less disturbing if I had chosen to just throw the safe in the dumpster with all of the contents inside and go purchase a new safe from any one of the dozens of places that sell safes in Anchorage.

These guys are the only company to use! They have been around forever and know their business. I own a few properties and learned to only to deal with Action. I tried another security company recently, only to be disappointed. I called Action, they saw the problem the other company created, and fixed it fast. If you want satisfACTION, I recommend Action.

They cut me a key off the dealership code and it was horribly wrong. I showed them how off it was once the dealership had a blank to cut for me and they basically told me it could take thirty tries to get it right and no refund. How come the dealership can cut it right the first try? Also they were really rude about it telling me they work for a living and do as there told. I work too and if a mistakes made I make it right with the customer or refund them there $$$. I payed $24 for a key that didn't work.
