Since Bellringer was acquired by Briscoe, terrible. Especially when it's needed. A faulty fire detector triggered fire dept dispatch - good, but downhill from there. Central Monitoring was rude and useless in providing information off hours. No response from message for a service call, and when I spoke to a live person, they couldn't get me a call back - and hung up on me.
Add to that, while they will pause for up to 3 days a call to fire dispatch, I get to live with the alarm going off with no idea when I can get a service appt. Switching to a locally owned company that cares about the community they serve.

Im not one to typically write reviews, but credits are due. The technician showed up on time, waited for me while I was finishing something, analyzed our security system carefully. Nothing was wrong with the system but this was a courtesy check after the 3g radio sunset. This is what I call security. Proactive and thorough. I see your trucks everywhere and wish you all the best.

I've been a Briscoe Protective customer for about 2 years now for both my home and business, this review is way past due! From the first moment I had communication with a company representative I knew I was dealing with a professional, knowledgeable and courteous team. All my properties had no security cameras and alarm systems installed, given the increase in crime I wanted to make sure both my family and business were protected.
The installation team were prompt and worked quickly but with meticulous precision. They installed motion, door and window sensors, security cameras and smoke alarms. At both properties the technician, I think his name was Tom (it was about 2 years ago and my memory is not the best!) took the time to explain the system to myself and employees and then again to my family at home.
The team even cleaned up after themselves and left the place spotless. Whenever an alarm trips we get a call from the Briscoe control room checking up on us within minutes. Every interation I've had with a Briscoe team member has been great, both over the phone or in person. I really appreciate the personal touch and communication from the team. I am really happy with Briscoe Protective and wholeheartedly recommend them, a few friends have even switched over to Briscoe recently. Thanks for the great service team!

Thanks for the safety kit with the fire extinguisher check. We didnt know Briscoe also offers fire extinguishers besides their security products. Ask for the budled services and they will give you discount if you opt for cameras, burglary alarm and fire extinguishers. We agreed to a service agreement for all to not have to worry about it. We also use their guard service which works well when we are away and we want the property checked.

I've had issues with the sevice for over a week. I've spoken with several people, was hung up on by Steve in tech, was promised managers would call back, they haven't - yet, they are billing my credit card for a service they are not even providing, nor is it working! I want my account, that hasn't even been working to be canceled as of March 1st. DO NOT CHARGE MY CARD FOR APRIL OR ANY MONTH THEREAFTER!
How can you even explain billing me for a service you are not providing? This is such a scam and I am reporting Briscoe to every consumer agency! As you know my radio has not been working as of March 2nd and therefore I should not be billed from March 2nd. I have 5 months left on my contract which I will not be renewing for November so this shakedown to insist I pay $389 fo upgrade my radio to 5g doesn't make any sense! Again, I don't know how you can possibly be billing me if you are not providing ANY service - isn't that illegal?

We had Tom from Briscoe visit our home yesterday to service our alarm and camera system. He was polite, removed his shoes and wore a mask. He checked the panel in the basement and went across each room to test the detector. A system fault was removed and he walked us through the checklist and phone numbers. He asked us to fill out a survey form for feedback at the end. Wanted to share a pleasant experience.

Have been having issues with my system for 4 days now, have left no less that 6 messages between voicemail, email and with humans and still no callback nor schedule for service nor any communication at all. My alarm went off early this morning and I got no call from the service to ensure all was ok. And I Pay for VIP service. Pathetic not sure if my home is protected from neither burglary nor fire at this point.

We had a new system installed over the earlier days of the week. Works like a charm. Had a horrible experience with my AV company Systems Design who said they knew alarms and cameras. Stick with the specialist for what you need. Systems Design in Southampton was the worst customer experience ever. Very happy to be with briscoe now.

Briscoe Protective was the right choice for our home security system. Everyone on our block as them so we were able to do some research. They have a same-day next-day service plan and they upgrade old systems for free. The new system works well and fast, I can see everything from the app. As new Hamptons homeowners we want to be sure we are protected when not there, Briscoe gave us that feeling.

They bought a bunch of other companies and tried to raise our monitoring by 60-80%! Beware. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THEM. I was smart enough to sign for only one year. Service has gone downhill and they are trying to raise everyone's rates. In addition we found they botched the system upgrade and didn't have enough power and left water sensors UNCONNECTED TO THE PANEL. Go elsewhere.

Wendy has helped my company resolve several complicated billing issues over the last several months. She is very smart in analyzing the problems & resolving them quickly. She has very good interactive skills missing with so many other customer service reps. She is always very pleasant & makes you feel that your problem is her problem!. She just doesn't "push the paper around" & act like she can't wait to get you off the phone. She should be considered a very important asset to the company!

Worst customer service. Same complaint on pricing as others that are posted. With no authorization or notice, they changed my service plan and increased the quarterly payment by almost 50%. When asked how this could happen, their response is that they are "allowed" to raise their prices as much as they want at any time. I am sure these people would not respond the same way if their cable company or cell phone provider did that.

We have had a very bad experience with Briscoe. We signed on with Bellringer and liked that it was a small local company. Ever since Briscoe bought them, they have raised their rates continually, tried to upsell products that have no present value and are now trying to lock us into a long term contract. We called around. Other local companies do not require that same contract and have lower monthly rates. If you are looking for a security company out in the Hamptons, I would stay away from this one.

I have been with the company for 2 years and recently wanted to add flood sensors to my basement. Making an appointment for an estimate was easy, but everything after was a mess. It took over a month to get a real estimate for flood sensors. Even after contacting the company and salesman multiple times I still did not receive a price. It wasn't until I called billing, someone finally set up an appointment to have them installed and they told me I didn't even have to have a salesman come to the house.

I called the company and they said "he's on his way". I understand things happen, but a phone call would have been nice. Not sure what happened, but before the name change things were different. I was never rude and always polite on the phone and it's disappointing to know this is how some customers are treated.

The absolute worst. They installed cameras that didn't work. Installed the monitor in a separate room from the computer with and can't understand that it is impossible to guide a mouse around a screen when there are 3 separate walls between the monitor and the mouse. They say go out and pick up a wireless mouse. Somehow its my fault that the cameras are unusable. Turns out the distance is too far for a wireless mouse. They refused to do anything about it. They stopped servicing my alarms too. The owner doesn't care. I will be seeing them in court. AVOID!

Called on Briscoe to check my system, which we've been neglecting, and to possibly update/upgrade our keypads. My system is a bit old so I wasn't sure it was functioning properly. From the very first phone call, I was so impressed with the quick action, great service and friendly atmosphere. They were able to book an appointment quickly. Tom came out to check our entire system, including smoke alarms, Carbon Monoxide systems and keypads.
He did not try to up-sell me, which was a bit of a relief, but I did decide to buy new keypads which he had on the truck and installed in no time. The visit was quick. He was cognizant of the time and the bill was very fair. I've been with Briscoe through a few transitions, and I'm staying with them. I do feel like they've got my back!

We received an email from our alarm company reminding us about maintenance and repair during these uncertain times. I emailed them that day and received a service call the next morning. They tested our system, added a feature that we were always talking about adding on and were very professional. Sometimes you need a reminder to get your projects off the shelf! Thanks Briscoe

Briscoe has been consistently available, polite and knowledgeable. They have installed an excellent security system and monitor it carefully. They call immediately if there is a problem and are very calm and reassuring. Any time I need service we are able to schedule promptly. The people who come are on time and get the job done. Prices are fair for the quality of work and services provided. As an alarm and protective services company, Briscoe delivers in an excellent fashion.

STAY AWAY. This has been the absolute worst nightmare my business went through. Horrible customer service. Outrageously overpriced and completely out of line. SEXIST AND RACIST staff (Walter our technician thought his size and intimidation could certainly put him in a position to threaten someone for being a female). As a minority female owned business my staff and I were appalled for the in person treatment and the email exchanges with absolutely not an ounce of professionalism or customer service. Please do yourself and your business a favor and hire absolutely anyone else. Don't put yourself in the hands of this scammers and their "service".

I've been with worldwide security for 2 years now, and fallen upon bad times so I was behind in my payment. I recently got back on my feet and made and a payment arrangement with Mindy for $35/we till I was caught up. Mindy then charged my credit card the full balance due of $350!, which bounced my mortgage payment! When I called her about this, she claimed I told her to charge the full amount which was a lie!
When it came to making the 3rd payment which would be a full payment of my balance, she did not return my call. I left a message with their answering service and my call was not returned. I then called and left a message for the owner who did not return my call either. I called AGAIN and was told to call their attorney! Why were they accepting my payments and when they handed it over to an attorney for collection?
I am a single mom with 2 kids with no intention of screwing them out of their money. If I had ill intent I wouldn't have called as many times as I did to try and get in touch with them. Now their attorney wants an $1800 attorneys fee PLUS the $200 balance! They have no compassion, are cold, heartless and sleazy. NOW there's a reply from Alexander S. Asking me to message him but HASN'T LEFT ANY CONTACT INFO!

DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND. About 3 years ago, I received a phone call from Worldwide telling me I needed an upgrade because the company were changing the frequency of their network. My system was working fine and I did not need or want an "upgrade". I was told they could no longer monitor the system they had installed a few years back, so I agreed to have them change the equipment.
The work order just mentioned the no charge "upgrade." In 2 pages of fine print it turns out they also extended my contract. As I was running out to work, the installer asked for my signature sign to acknowledge that the equipment was installed and working. That was COMPLETELY DECEPTIVE. The intent was to trick me, and I assume, other customers into signing a contract for another 5 years, which I only found out years later when I tried to terminate the monitoring contract because the monthly fees were too high.
The TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT refuses to have a conversation, and instead tries to intimidate with collection notices and threats of litigation. Any company that uses such deceptive business practices should not be entrusted with the safety of your home.

Was in this business many years ago and based on that I can tell you that from customer service to sales and tech's in the field they are at the top. Class A technical experience in alarms, video and central station. I know Debbie Cestra for two decades and as the service manager she makes working with this company a pleasure. I also have enjoyed working with one of their field engineers "Al" who knows exactly what it takes to keep customers in the field 100% happy!

BUYER BEWARE. DONT USE WORLDWIDE. After being a customer for around 10 years I needed to cancel service. Having just paid my bill for the coming year, I contacted worldwide for a refund. I was shocked that they said this is not their policy and no refund for services not rendered would be issued. Additionally I was told this would be escalated to a manager and I would be called back.
I never received any callback and subsequent attempts to reach out them have been ignored. This company does not care about its customers. Buyer beware of working with worldwide security. Updated - they have resolved my dispute appropriately.

STAY AWAY! Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. I switched from a company that I had been using for decades and I regret the experience. I contracted them to update my camera system and alarm system. After over TWO YEARS and several extras they claimed to be finished. The system still doesn't work. I've left several messages for the owner but he has never once called me back.
Their salesman Lenny has apologized many times but they have never done anything to fix the problems. Now it's over 3 years later and they REFUSE to fix a faulty alarm. Horrible, horrible, horrible company. They installed the monitor to my cameras in one room but the server in another room on the otherside of the building. When i asked them how i was supposed to move the mouse that was 40 feet from the montior and 3 locked doors away their only anwser from their salesman was we arent camera experts, maybe you can get something from Best Buy. Fast forward 3 years later most the cameras still dont work and they've never resolved the issues. I guess my only recourse it to litigate.

New Worldwide Security client here. My wife and I couldn't be happier with our new security and video monitoring system. We looked at a lot of different options, but ultimately decided Worldwide offered the best technology at a really good value. We're happy with our decision. Worldwide also accommodated Saturday install which was huge for me.
