Called Priority One to make an appointment.they came to look over what was needed and made suggestions to improve the security I already had. Every step of the way the people and their customer service was top of the line. I would highly recommend Priority One to anyone who is interested in a great security system. They have such positive attitude and a great work ethic. Will not leave until you completely understand your system. Jan

After being a customer with Priority One Security for over 20 years, and my monthly fee hasn't been increased at any time since signing up 20 yrs ago. Today I get a notice that they are increasing their monthly fee. How can this company do this at the time? We are in the middle of the worst time ever, we have this virus killing people every where, people out of work, people just trying to put food on the table and keep their lights on.
Not to mention where is the appreciation for clients like myself who have helped you build this company for the past 20 years? I will be looking for another service starting Jan 2021, and I would encourage others to do the same!

I have been a customer for over five years and just agreed to their $189 upgrade. Since then it has been slow at best and today, after returning from a trip, it didn't work at all. I called customer service and was told they could come out on 6/29/21 between 10 and 2. Today is 6/17/21! Unacceptable! I'm shopping!

I bought my house less than a month ago and it came with a home security system previously set up with Priority One. Today Scott came and setup the system under my ownership. I could not have asked more from a technician. He was thorough in checking all of the monitoring devices, knowledgeable about every technical question I asked him, patient as I learned how to use the system, and respectful of my home.
I will say I wish Priority One had better explained to me it would first be a salesman to come to my house and then another appointment would be set up for the installation, though. It surprised me that sending out a salesman would even be needed considering most major companies would list options and have you chose on their websites nowadays.

Sales rep was very professional, explained everything very well and answered all of my questions without making me feel bad for asking them. Fully understood the contract terms and he listened to what I wanted in my system without pushing extras on me like other sales people do. Installation was a breeze too. Friendly people, made sure we were comfortable with the operation of everything, tested everything, cleaned up everything. Great experience and we feel safe with the service we have so far.

I've had them for at least 7 years. In the beginning it was okay. Sales rep very business like. Felt like an object instead of a customer. Realized now that everything I was paying them to monitor, I could do without them while still using the equipment I paid for. I can press a button and get 911 faster than them calling me first and then contacting emergency if no response.
Two add ons were a camera and front door lock. My bill went up by 15 a month. Well - When I called EMS one night after breaking my arm and laying on the floor, the door lock did NOT work. Batteries were dead. No warning system to advise of low battery. Camera was not monitored by them either yet I paid extra monthly. What made me finally cancel was my battery was "dying." For them to come out would have cost me $85 an hour. What?!
I canceled. Looked up the battery. $22.00 on Amazon. Installed myself. First I got rid of Spectrum, now Priority One. Very disappointed in their follow through and attitude. They lost $38 a month for the replacement of a battery.

Loved the tech so informative, and explained everything. felt really comfortable with him in my home. I love this system so up to date, new and yet easy to understand. The staff are so willing to listen to questions and answer in a manner one understands. I love it feels like family. I also have to give appreciation to Rick the salesman, very nice man and I would recommend this company to everyone, very impressed

NOT impressed. We were customers of Blue Ridge Security who was bought out by Priority One. The home we bought came with the Blue Ridge Security system already installed. We had a terrible, and I mean terrible, experience with them. I was glad when another company took over. But have also had a poor experience with them. We are renovating our basement and need another keypad and some additional upgrades.
Each time myself or my husband has called, we're told someone will call us back and never have they ever called us back. The one time we were able to speak to someone willing to help, he said he was a supervisor and was so sorry for our experience. he'd have a technician out THE NEXT DAY to come take a look and hear what we were thinking. The technician never showed up, go figure. and when we called, there was never an appointment scheduled 'to their knowledge.' I'm just waiting for our contract to end so we can choose another alarm company. I do not recommend this company.
