For years, the industry has been provided necessary security systems and service from large international and national companies. These large companies grew with the consolidation of larger financial institutions and eventually paid less attention to the small independent banks. As a result, local and regional companies began producing security systems and equipment, which has revolutionized the security vendor scenario to what it is today. The growth of independent local and regional dealers has skyrocketed.



Bankers are no longer a captive audience. They have been given an alternative to high prices and poor service. These savings have been made possible by utilizing companies serving the geographical areas where the customer base is located. Personal and responsive service has made it possible to respond quickly and efficiently to customer needs. It makes sense that local and independent dealers have the operating efficiencies of less overhead, lower prices and personalized service than the larger national and international companies. Vault Security Systems began its operations in 1982 with the help of its first two banks, Bank of Pleasanton and Commercial Bank of Fremont. These two banks were opened under the Mission Valley Bancorp holding company. Even though their names have changed over the years, we still have our original customers.
