We have been extremely pleased with Sofie at A-1 Security. Not only did she come by and do a walk-around assessment of our house, she followed up several times to be sure we actually knew how to use it. Their process is to assess the house for likely entry points and secure those. We didn't even think about it and would have had trips in all the wrong places.
We even have access from our phones to arm/disarm and get notifications of any faults. I know when the nanny takes the kids for a walk and returns back, or if I forgot to arm it when I left. I even disarm as I'm pulling up so I don't have to drop everything immediately when I walk in the house.

We have been a customer for more than 10 years starting with United Security Systems. I called Mountain Alarm several weeks ago to upgrade our current service. A technician called back to set-up an appt to look at our current alarm panel. Never heard from him again. He didn't show up for the appointment and never called to cancel. So unprofessional.

It is not easy being a senior and having to deal with various services and technologies. We had a problem of a chirping loud sound coming from one of our security devices. I worked with two very patient individuals who guided me through several steps to help me dismantle the system until a tech person Could get to us.

Gina competently explained the problem and more importantly explained precisely how to correct, including even the battery size required. It was a setting that was entered incorrectly but was a simple push of the button. I highly recommend Mountain Alarm.

Service reps try to be nice but service solutions are not prompt or effective because they are not locally based. Impossible to get personal service for my personal security. The above mentioned was quickly resolved after this post. A service tech was sent out right away! Thank you so much for rendering my issues. Extremely grateful for the many attempts at follow up to make sure I was taken care of as well! Great turnaround!

Cory was very informative and knows his product very well. After getting multiple estimates from other companies we felt more comfortable with Cory right away. He didn't try to sell us on anything he didn't believe we needed like other companies had done. We also liked that Mountain does their own monitoring unlike some other "local" companies who use monitoring from out of state. All of their products are American made too!
